NBA 2K21 on next-generation consoles comes with a new-old mode. It is called MyNBA and it’s a franchise mode. This the 2K’s take on franchise mode on the new consoles. All the features of the regular franchise mode are still here but, as you can imagine, new ones are also present.
MyNBA setup options allow you to create a personalized experience. This customization feature includes options such as salary cap customization, simple settings options, fantasy draft, league, roster, and more. Use these options to shape your game as you prefer. Advanced CBA rules are another addition. This feature was requested by the hardcore players.
The developers decided to give the players what they want but, at the same time, to please those who play on a more casual level. So, these rules can be turned off. If you want a more complex experience when it comes to recruiting players and other team management aspects, just find the rule you want and turn it on.
Role-playing elements are part of the MyNBA experience as well. This is a set of options such as conversations, morale, tasks, and more. Just like the CBA rules, you can put all these options on or off depending on how you want to enjoy NBA 2K21.
The budget and finances section includes options such as salary cap, luxury tax, user-controlled budgets, and such. The play with friends option allows you to team up with other players. The minimum number of players for this mode is 12 and the maximum is 30. The automated off-season period option gives you the choice of putting the season on and off. If you turn it off, the game will simulate it for you.
This way, you can focus on the seasons and playoffs and skip the off-season. The Start from feature allows you to choose between the start of the season or the past off-season. This feature will become available once the date for the start of the next season is set. You will be happy to know that G league games are back. Should you want to enjoy this feature, just leave it on.
If you don’t want to, you can easily put it off. The ranked option is a controversial one. This option will limit league customization. This is necessary because players need to be equal so they can compete in a fair environment. NBA 2K21 is available on next-generation starting November 10th. You can check out the MTStacks store before then, and you’ll find an exclusive sale for NBA 2K21 MT coins.
